May 13, 1998 Subject: the Farming Game We received our second copy of the Farming Game two days ago. I put it on the table where the kids would spot it when they came in from school. Everyone of them--including my 17 year old son--gave me a great big hug when they saw it. Our older children wore out a set of the Farming Game in the '80's. They never stopped talking about it though. I had no idea it was still available until my oldest son visited the Mall of America and AI's Farm Toys. Soon as I found out, I was on the phone! AI, or whoever, got that thing here in less than a week. Now the younger half can finally play and love the Farming Game. I think they have played it four times in the two days it's been here, I know that sounds odd, about the older half and the younger half. If you read our email address, it reads: "ten of us." (Please, not tenoofus, as if to rhyme with doofus!) We have eight wonderful children. But they have sort of grown up in two groups! Hard to explain, but if you're from a large family, you may remember how kids kind of clump up. Now, that sounds even more odd! I'd better quit while I'm ahead. I just wrote to thank you for making the Farming Game, and please keep making it! I hope to have grandchildren someday, and they will need a Farming Game! Thank you. Angela F |
